WEBCAST ON CD OR ON-DEMAND
presented on July 13, 2007
Sponsored by the Top Leadership Teams in Healthcare Conference
Competition is out. Collaboration is in.
Physician employment as a strategic vision for hospitals is back with a vengeance. A trend that largely failed in the 90's is resurfacing with a twist—an opportunity align incentives between hospitals and physicians. A variety of factors are once again making individual physician employment and outright practice ownership an appealing solution for hospitals:
- Increased outpatient competition from physicians
- Physicians' desire to improve their quality of life
- Severe shortages in key specialties
- Rising malpractice insurance claims and costs
Get in on the trend—we'll show you how!
Hospitals have learned from their previous experience of acquiring practices. Instead of needlessly overpaying to own, leaders are seeking a multitude of ways to collaborate rather than compete. Many hospitals never abandoned this strategy and as a result have perfected the acquisition model. Learn how they did it during this Webcast. Four panelists share their struggles and successes with physician alignment. Hear what challenges they faced, how they were overcome, and get help deciding whether their strategies are right for you.
