Dr. Richard Salluzzo, President and CEO of Wellmont Health System
Dr. Richard Salluzzo is president and CEO of Wellmont Health System, a 13-hospital system with facilities in Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky. He is the founder of the national Safest Hospital Alliance. A double-board-certified physician, Dr. Salluzzo received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and earned a master's degree in business administration from the acclaimed Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He is board certified in internal medicine and emergency medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of the American College of Physician Executives and the American Medical Association. Dr. Salluzzo is the author of a management textbook on emergency medicine.
Wanda Della-Calce, Emergency Services Service Line Administrator
Wanda Della-Calce has 20 years experience in emergency nursing. She is currently the Service Line Administrator for Emergency Services at North Mississippi Medical Center, and manages the Emergency, Trauma, Aeromedical, Ambulance service, Rapid Admit Unit and Pre-Admission Testing departments.
Chuck Stokes, President, North Mississippi Medical Center
Chuck Stokes is President of North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC), a 650-bed tertiary hospital located in Tupelo, Mississippi. In the past fourteen years, Mr. Stokes has served as Executive Vice President, and Chief Operations Officer for three different health care systems in Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama. He is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives and serves as faculty for numerous leadership development programs sponsored by the College. He also serves as a preceptor on the faculty at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He currently serves on the Mississippi Hospital Association’s Committee on Trauma Care and the Committee on Legislation. Mr. Stokes also serves as chairman of the Governor’s Trauma Care Task Force.
